What happened in Oshkosh
This Oshkosh basement had water in November 2022, and it was full of stored belongings on shelving and on the floor. The photos show the storage rooms, the shelves of totes and boxes, and the finished rooms along the hallway, with air movers working through the space.
The crew pulled the wet carpet and pad, moved items away from the wettest areas, and set equipment along the walls and under the stairs. In a basement like this, airflow has to reach behind and under stored things, so equipment placement takes some planning. Later photos show the finished rooms with the carpet removed and the floor drying.
If a basement holds a lot of storage, plastic totes on raised shelving make a water event much easier to recover from than cardboard boxes on the floor. This customer found CCS through Google.
