What happened in Sheboygan
CCS answered this water emergency in Sheboygan on August 4, 2025. It is a large job with 347 photos, and the set here is from August 5, the day after the call.
The rooms have patterned vinyl floors and wood doors and trim. A crew member worked along each wall with a moisture meter, setting it on the floor where the vinyl meets the baseboard, at the bottom of door casings, and on the lower drywall. In several spots the baseboard had already been pulled away from the wall, and the vinyl showed a line of staining along the edge.
The readings continue into a room with carpet and into storage areas packed with boxes and bags, where the meter was placed at the base of the wall between the stored items. Mapping moisture this way on the first full day shows how far the water spread and sets the plan for what has to be removed and dried.
