What happened in Ashwaubenon
CCS answered this water emergency in Ashwaubenon on August 16, 2025, and documented it with 135 photos. The photos here are from August 19.
The water was in a finished basement with wood paneling, built-in cabinets with glass doors, and a painted landscape mural on one wall. By the third day the flooring was gone and the concrete slab was bare and stained where the water had sat. The bottom of the paneling and drywall had been cut away along the walls, exposing the framing and the bottom plates.
A crew member walked the rooms with a long pointer, marking the line where the walls were cut and the spots on the floor that still needed attention. Air movers sat on the slab in several rooms. Cutting the lower walls lets the cavities behind the paneling dry instead of trapping water where it can turn into mold.
