What happened in Luxemburg
CCS handled this commercial water damage and build-back job in Luxemburg in early 2024. The project was opened on February 20 and has 68 photos through mid-March.
On February 26 the lower walls in several rooms, including a restroom with a grab bar, had been cut out to the studs, and blue dehumidifiers and air movers were running in each space. Wiring and cords ran across the floors to the equipment.
On March 6 air sampling pumps were set on tripods in the rooms, with an outdoor sample for comparison, to check the air before the walls were closed. By March 12 the rooms were rebuilt with new drywall, fresh paint, new baseboard and the carpet back down, and the photos go corner to corner in each office to show the finished walls. Testing the air between drying and rebuilding is a common step in commercial spaces where people work every day.
