What happened in Greenville
CCS answered this water emergency in Greenville on July 10, 2024. The job included build-back and has 201 photos. The set here is from July 15.
By then the basement had been opened up. The carpet was out and the concrete was bare, the lower drywall was cut away along the walls, and in some rooms the walls were down to the studs and the bottom plates. Contents were moved to the middle of the rooms and drying equipment stood nearby.
A crew member worked through the basement with a pump sprayer, treating the slab along every wall, the exposed bottom plates, the studs and the edges of the cut drywall, and the area around the utility equipment. Treating the framing and slab after a water loss and before any rebuild keeps mold from starting inside the new walls.
