What happened in Greenville
This Greenville basement was a water emergency opened on April 3, 2026. The crew documented it with 59 photos between April 3 and 7.
The basement is mostly unfinished, with a concrete floor, the furnace and water heater, storage shelving and a workbench. Water spread across the concrete, and the photos from the first visit show the wet floor through the storage and utility areas.
One side of the basement has framed walls with rigid insulation board. The crew took moisture readings where those walls sit on the floor, because the bottom plates are the first part of the framing to soak up water. A thermo-hygrometer reading closes out the set.
Work performed
- Water emergency response
- Inspection of the wet concrete floor
- Moisture readings on the bottom plates of the framed walls
