What happened in Appleton
CCS responded to this commercial water loss in Appleton on July 11, 2024, and took 28 photos between July and the end of August.
The space is a large lower-level room with painted block walls, a teal wall base, a raised platform at one end and a ceiling of fluorescent lights. In July the wood-look floor was still down, an orange safety cone marked the wet area at the bottom of the stairs, and a fan was running in the room.
By August 26 the floor covering had been taken up, exposing a grid of old tile and black adhesive on the slab. A crew member treated the floor along the walls with a pump sprayer, and blue air movers were spread across the room. On August 29 the air movers were still running along the walls to finish drying the slab before new flooring could go down.
