What happened in Green Bay
This Green Bay home had water spread across a finished lower level in March 2023. The photos show the tile floor and baseboards where the water ran, air movers and a dehumidifier set up along the walls, and moisture readings taken at the base of the walls and trim.
The family's living space stayed set up during the job, so the crew worked around the furniture and kitchen area while drying the floor edges and the bottom of the drywall. Readings at the end show the walls and floor back to dry.
Not every water job needs tear-out. When the crew gets there quickly and the water hasn't sat long, tile floors and painted drywall can often be dried in place, which saves the homeowner a rebuild. The meter readings are what decide whether that's possible.
