What happened in Fish Creek

CCS answered this water emergency in Fish Creek on October 2, 2025. It is a large job with 349 photos, and the set here is from October 7.

The water spread across one level of a newer home with white trim, white doors and built-in closet shelving. By October 7 the floor covering had been removed through the bedrooms, the walk-in closets, the bathrooms and the laundry area, leaving the underlayment exposed with patches of yellow and gray where the old flooring had been bonded down.

The photos go room by room and into each closet so the full extent of the floor removal is on record, including around the vanities, the toilet, the laundry hookups and a storage rack. When water runs across a whole level, it follows the floor into closets and under cabinets, so the flooring usually has to come out everywhere it reached, not just where the water was first seen.

Work performed

  • Water emergency response
  • Flooring removed through bedrooms, closets and baths
  • Laundry area floor opened
  • Room by room documentation

Water damage questions, answered

Does CCS Property Services do water damage in Fish Creek?

Yes. This project was in Fish Creek, WI 54212, and our crews work throughout Fish Creek and the surrounding area. Our Green Bay office is about 63 miles away. This is one of 2 water damage projects we've published from Fish Creek. Phones are answered 24/7 for emergencies.

What should I do in the first hour after a water leak?

Shut off the water at the main valve if you can, and turn off power to any wet area if it's safe to reach the panel. Move valuables and furniture off wet floors, take photos for insurance, and call a restoration company. Don't use a household vacuum on standing water.

How fast can CCS get to my home?

Phones are answered 24/7. In most cases we can have a crew on site within about an hour of your call for active water emergencies in the Green Bay area.

Does homeowners insurance cover water damage in Wisconsin?

Most policies cover sudden and accidental water damage, like a burst pipe or an appliance failure. Damage from long-term leaks or neglect usually isn't covered, and flooding from surface water typically needs separate flood coverage. Sump pump backup is often an add-on endorsement. We document the loss and work directly with your adjuster.

How long does it take to dry out a flooded basement?

Most structures dry in three to five days with professional equipment, depending on how much water there was, what materials got wet and the weather. We check moisture readings daily and only pull equipment when readings confirm it's dry.

Will I get mold after water damage?

Mold can start growing within 24 to 48 hours on wet drywall, wood and carpet. Fast extraction and drying is what prevents it, which is why we treat water damage as an emergency.

Do you handle the repairs too?

Yes. We dry out the structure and then rebuild what was removed, so you deal with one company from the first call to the finished room.
