What happened in De Pere
CCS answered this water emergency in De Pere in early January 2025. The project was opened on January 3, and the 90 photos include a round of moisture checks on January 6.
The crew worked room by room with a moisture meter, holding it against the ceilings, the upper walls and the base of the walls. Small holes were drilled in the ceilings to help the cavities above dry. In the bathroom they took readings on the ceiling around the exhaust fan, along the tile floor, and on the wood vanity cabinet base and the floor inside it.
In the carpeted rooms the carpet was pulled back from the wall and blue air movers were set to blow under it and across the pad. Readings taken this way show which materials are still wet, so drying can continue until the numbers come back to normal.
