What happened in Crivitz
CCS took this water damage job in Crivitz in late January 2025 and documented it with 208 photos. The photos here are from the rebuild in March.
On March 12 the lower walls were still open to the studs. Pink insulation sat in some bays and others were empty, and the log-style paneling above had been left in place. The utility and laundry room was also photographed, with the washer, dryer, water heater and well tank along the walls.
By March 18 the open walls were closed up with new OSB panels running up to a wood band under the original paneling. The laundry room was back in order with the appliances reconnected. Rebuilding only the lower section of a wall is common after water damage, since that is where the water wicks up into the insulation and framing.
