What happened in De Pere
CCS answered this basement water emergency in De Pere on November 25, 2024, and took 83 photos on the first day.
The finished side of the basement has light walls, a family room, a pool table and a stairway down from the main floor. By the end of the day the carpet was out, the concrete was bare, and a narrow strip of drywall had been cut away along the bottom of the walls so the crew could take moisture readings on the bottom plates and the framing. Blue air movers were set along the cut walls, and furniture and stored items were moved toward the middle of the rooms.
The unfinished side, with its open ceiling joists, was photographed with its rugs and stored contents. First-day photos like these record how far the water reached and what was in the room before drying starts.
