What happened in Appleton
CCS handled this water damage and build-back job in Appleton. The project was opened on January 20, 2024, and grew to 354 photos. The set here is from the final checks on May 6 and 7, 2024.
The rebuilt spaces are apartment-style units with new wood-look plank flooring, white walls, dark doors, ceiling fans, and kitchens with white cabinets and appliances. The bathrooms have dark vanities with white tops and tub surrounds.
Before closing out, a crew member went through with a non-contact voltage tester, checking outlets and the wiring behind appliances to confirm power was live and the electrical work was safe after the rebuild. The toilets and fixtures were checked too. When water reaches several units in a building, the build-back ends with this kind of unit by unit walkthrough before tenants move back in.
