What happened in Suamico

CCS opened this water damage job in Suamico on January 25, 2024. It is a large job with 322 photos, and the set here is from February 12.

By then the inside of the house had been taken down to the structure. The walls were open to the studs and the exterior sheathing, the ceilings were open to the joists and roof boards, and the floors were down to the old wood plank subfloor. In the bathroom the tub was still in place, with the floor stripped around it.

A crew member in gloves worked through every room with a spray wand, treating the studs, the ceiling joists, the sheathing and the subfloor boards. Wet spots show on the planks where the treatment went down. Treating all of the exposed wood before anything is rebuilt helps make sure no mold survives inside the new walls and floors.
