What happened in Green Bay
This Green Bay homeowner was remodeling a bathroom in April 2022 when they found water damage and possible mold under the floor. They found CCS on Google and approved the work.
Jamie came out, figured out what was going on and laid out a few options. The photos show the subfloor after it was opened, with the rotted, stained wood around the plumbing, and the view from below: the joists, the drain lines and the underside of the floor where the leak had been soaking in.
A slow leak at a toilet or tub can sit under a bathroom floor for years before anyone sees it. Finding it during a remodel is the best time, because the floor is already coming up and the framing can be dried and treated before the new floor goes down.
Work performed
- Damaged subfloor opened
- Framing below the bathroom inspected
- Antimicrobial treatment
Photos labeled Before and After were taken by the CCS crew on this job.
