What happened in Sturgeon Bay
CCS answered this basement water emergency in Sturgeon Bay on July 22, 2025, and documented it with 45 photos. The photos here are from July 23 and July 28.
The basement is unfinished, with pink foam board insulation on the foundation walls and a bare concrete floor that showed where the water had spread. On July 23 the crew photographed the sump pit with its pump and discharge piping, set a blue air mover on the floor, and ran cords across the room.
On July 28 they returned to check the drying. Readings were taken with two different moisture meters, and the floor was photographed from each end of the basement. The sump pit was documented again from above, along with the battery unit on the floor beside it. A sump system is often the center of a basement water loss, so the pit and its equipment get photographed on every visit.
