What happened in Marinette
This Marinette basement took on water in November 2023, and CCS worked it from the first day of drying through tear-out.
The photos show standing moisture and dirty water marks on the concrete floor, finished walls with the lower drywall cut away, and air movers placed along the exposed framing. Pulling the wet drywall and insulation lets the studs and the concrete dry instead of trapping moisture behind the wall, where mold starts within a couple of days.
Later photos show more of the basement opened up, a utility area with plumbing along the wall, and equipment running across the space. The crew checked the framing and floor as it dried and documented everything for the insurance claim.
When a finished basement floods, the fastest way to keep the damage small is to get the wet materials out and the air moving right away.
