What happened in Kaukauna
This Kaukauna basement was a water emergency opened on September 8, 2026. The crew logged 119 photos, and the ones here are from September 12.
The carpet and pad had been pulled from the finished basement, leaving glue spots from the pad on the bare concrete and the tack strip lines along the walls. Furniture and belongings were pushed toward the middle of the rooms. The crew took moisture readings at the base of the walls and a thermo-hygrometer reading in the main room, and checked the hallway and closets the same way.
Readings at the wall base tell the crew whether the drywall can stay or needs to be cut.
