What happened in Green Bay
CCS answered this kitchen water emergency in Green Bay on May 7, 2024, and took 14 photos between May and August.
The kitchen has white cabinets, a white subway tile backsplash and a large tile floor. On May 7 a section of the lower cabinets had been pulled out, exposing the floor and the wall behind them. The subfloor there was stained dark, the wall behind it showed water damage and staining near the floor, and a moisture meter was set on the floor in the open space. The rest of the photos look down the kitchen and into the hallway, and show water marks on the tile in front of the cabinets.
By August 6 the cabinets in that corner were out, and the tile and the wall below the backsplash had been opened up for the repair. Leaks under kitchen cabinets, from a dishwasher, sink line or ice maker, often run for a while before anyone sees them.
