What happened in Green Bay
CCS answered this water emergency in Green Bay on April 5, 2024, and took 67 photos. Most of the set here is from April 8.
The damage centered on a bathroom with blue painted walls and a tile floor. On the first visit a moisture reading was taken at the base of a wall. By April 8 the crew had cut out the lower drywall around the room, opening the wall behind the toilet and the vanity down to the studs, and part of the ceiling had been opened between the joists. Broken pieces of drywall and debris covered the floor, and a cut section of door casing and wall leaned against the vanity.
The tile floor was left in place. Bathrooms take on water from supply lines, toilets and tubs, and once the water gets behind the drywall, cutting it out is the fastest way to dry the framing and keep mold from starting.
