What happened in Colburn
This home in the Colburn area of Green Bay had water in the finished basement in March 2022. The homeowner found CCS on Google and approved the work.
The crew took meter readings on the drywall and the carpet to map the wet area, then pulled the carpet and pad and cut the bottom of the drywall where it had soaked up water. Air movers and a dehumidifier went into the rec room, along the walls and by the stairs.
The photos also show the humidity readings taken during the job. A basement isn't dry when it feels dry. It's dry when the readings match the unaffected areas of the house, and that's when the equipment comes out.
