What happened in Allouez
CCS answered this water emergency in Allouez on April 11, 2025, and took 24 photos that day.
The water was in a finished basement with dark carpet, around a small closet that houses a white PVC utility pipe. The bottom of the closet wall had been opened, and the drywall there showed dark spotting near the floor. A gloved crew member treated the opening with a spray wand.
Moisture readings were taken on the carpet in front of the closet, at the base of the walls, along the wood framing of the closet opening and on the textured ceiling nearby. A wood-paneled access panel and the door trim were photographed, and the closet was documented from several angles. Water around a utility pipe in a basement can come from the pipe itself or from water rising around it, and readings in a ring around the spot show how far it traveled.
