What happened in Sheboygan
CCS inspected this basement in Sheboygan on November 3, 2025, as a free mold assessment, and documented it with 21 photos. The owner received a written estimate for remediation.
The basement has painted block walls, an open wood ceiling and a mix of old vinyl tile and bare concrete on the floor, and it was being used for storage, with belongings spread across much of the space. The crew worked around the stored items to reach the walls, the corners and the floor along the edges, using a pointer to mark spots of staining and peeling paint at the base of the block.
Photos of the narrow corners and the back storage area show dark staining on the floor and the lower walls. Stored boxes, fabric and paper pushed against basement walls trap moisture and give mold food to grow on, so clearing space along the walls is often the first step in the plan.
