What happened in Sheboygan
CCS opened this mold remediation job in Sheboygan on September 12, 2025, and documented it with 41 photos. The set here is from October 3.
The basement has painted block walls and a painted concrete floor, with a toilet set against one wall, the water meter and supply lines in a corner, and a standpipe in the floor. Along the bottom of the walls the paint was blistered and stained, with dark marks and white mineral deposits climbing up from the floor, and the corners by the wood framing showed the same.
The crew photographed each wall and corner, the area behind the toilet, the meter and the floor around the standpipe, where rust-colored stains spread across the paint. White deposits on block walls are minerals left behind when water seeps through the block and dries, a clear sign of the moisture that feeds mold in a basement.
