What happened in Marinette
This Marinette job, from May 2023, found mold inside a wall. The photos show the room with sections of drywall cut out between the studs, dark growth on the back of the board and on the framing in one stud bay, and mold creeping along the textured wall and ceiling corners nearby.
Opening the wall in small, clean sections let the crew see how far the growth went without tearing out more than needed. The affected drywall came out, and the studs and surrounding surfaces were cleaned and treated before the openings were closed back up.
Mold inside a wall usually means water got in at some point, from a leak, condensation or an outside wall that stays cold. That's why the assessment looks for the cause as well as the growth itself. The homeowner found CCS through a Google search.
