What happened in Green Bay
CCS opened this mold remediation job in Green Bay on October 29, 2025, and took 19 photos on November 4.
The problem was below a window in an empty room. The drywall under the window and in a section beside it had been cut out, exposing the framing under the sill and the fiberboard sheathing behind the studs. The pink fiberglass insulation pulled from the wall had dark mold staining across its face, and the wood under the window frame was stained dark.
A crew member treated the framing, the sill area and the sheathing with a spray wand, working into each open bay. The last photo shows the room from the doorway with the openings under and beside the window. When a window leaks, the water runs down inside the wall where the insulation soaks it up, and the mold stays hidden until the drywall comes off.
