What happened in Astor
CCS handled this mold remediation job in the Astor area of Green Bay. The project was opened on June 3, 2025, and the 26 photos are from June 6.
The work was in a finished basement room with a freestanding stove in one corner. A band of drywall about a foot high had been cut out around the room, exposing the studs, the bottom plates and the insulation behind them. Wet, crumbled drywall and insulation lay on drop cloths and cardboard along the walls during the tear-out.
Once the debris was cleared, a gloved crew member treated the open wall cavities and the bottom plates with a spray wand, working all the way around the room. The last photos show the carpet back down with the cut line running clean along every wall, ready for new drywall and trim. Cutting out only the bottom band keeps the repair small when the mold is limited to the base of the wall.
