What happened in Green Bay
CCS opened this mold remediation job in Green Bay on August 13, 2025, and took 25 photos in September.
On September 5 the floor covering had been taken up in one room, leaving bare concrete with adhesive marks. A low strip of drywall had been cut out along the walls, exposing the studs and the bottom plates. Old wood baseboards and plates were pulled and laid on the floor, and a pointer marks the dark staining at the bottom of the wall cavity. A shop vacuum was set up in the room. In the next room the carpet was still down, with the same low cut along the wall.
By September 19 the cut sections had been patched with new drywall and coated with compound, new baseboard was on, and the carpet was back in place. Cutting low and replacing only the damaged strip keeps the repair small when the mold is limited to the base of the wall.
