What happened in Green Bay
CCS inspected this home in Green Bay on August 18 and 19, 2025, as a free mold assessment, and documented it with 63 photos. The owner received a written estimate for remediation.
In the basement, the painted walls had dark mold along the bottom and climbing up from the floor, worst in the corner around the sump pit and its discharge pipe and along one long wall. A dehumidifier unit was photographed with its display, and the floor near the walls was stained.
The crew also went up on the roof. The asphalt shingles along the low slope near the lawn had leaves and debris collected on them and dark patches of growth, and a plumbing vent stack comes through the roof there. Water that sheds off a roof and collects against the foundation is a common reason basement walls stay wet, which is why the assessment looked at the roof and the basement together.
