What happened in Olde Norwood
CCS handled this attic mold job in the Olde Norwood area of Green Bay. The project was opened on June 17, 2025, and the photos here are from July 11.
The attic is in an older home, with board sheathing over the rafters and loose insulation on the floor. The boards are dark across much of the roof, with lighter patches where the staining is thinner, and wiring runs along the rafters. In several photos the air is hazy with a fine mist hanging in the light, from the treatment being applied across the roof deck.
The last photo looks toward the gable end, where a square vent opening lets air in and out. Old attics often have too little ventilation for the moisture that rises from the house, and the boards closest to the peak, where warm air collects, usually show it first.
