What happened in De Pere

This De Pere home went through mold remediation in May 2022. The homeowner found CCS on Google and approved the work. The project file has more than two hundred photos, and the ones shown here are from the end of the job, a walk through the finished rooms.

They cover the main living areas: the hardwood floors, the wood doors and trim, the kitchen cabinets, the dining room, the stairway, a bathroom and the family room with the fireplace. Light fixtures and the smoke detector are photographed too, since fixtures and the tops of cabinets collect dust and spores and get wiped down during cleanup.

Final photos like these give the homeowner a record of the condition of every room when the crew left.

Work performed

  • Mold remediation
  • Surface cleaning of fixtures, cabinets and trim
  • Final photo walk through

β€œWe recently had our roof done and I wanted a second pair of eyes to ensure no mold was present due to having leaks for some time. Mike Wotruba showed up thankfully after roofing rescheduled twice and he was so accommodating. Super helpful with questions and went above and beyond for me.”

Mold remediation questions, answered

Does CCS Property Services do mold remediation in De Pere?

Yes. This project was in De Pere, WI 54115, and our crews work throughout De Pere and the surrounding area. Our Green Bay office is about 2 miles away. This is one of 8 mold remediation projects we've published from De Pere. Assessments are free.

How fast can someone come out to De Pere?

We schedule assessments as quickly as we can, with priority for active leaks and deadlines like a home sale closing. Request a call back above or call (920) 435-2288.

Is the mold assessment free?

Yes. We inspect the area, look for the moisture source and explain what we find. You only pay if you choose to move forward with remediation.

What's the difference between mold removal and mold remediation?

Removal means cleaning off visible mold. Remediation is the full process: containment, removing damaged materials, cleaning, treating and fixing the moisture that caused it. Removal alone often leads to the mold coming back.

How much does mold remediation cost?

It depends on the size of the area, what's growing on (drywall, wood framing, insulation) and access. A small bathroom or window area costs far less than a full basement or attic. You get a written price after the free assessment.

Does insurance cover mold remediation?

Often it does when the mold comes from a sudden covered event, like a burst pipe or appliance leak. Mold from long-term humidity or slow leaks usually isn't covered. We'll tell you which it looks like and work with your adjuster if you file a claim.

Can I stay in my home during mold remediation?

Usually, yes. We seal off the work area and run HEPA filtration so spores don't spread. If a space needs to be off-limits, we'll tell you before we start.

Will the mold come back?

Not if the moisture is fixed. Every job starts by finding the source, whether it's a leak, poor ventilation or high humidity, and that fix is part of the plan.

Is black mold dangerous?

Any mold growing indoors should be taken seriously, especially for people with allergies, asthma or weakened immune systems. The color doesn't tell you how harmful it is. Large areas (more than about 10 square feet) should be handled by professionals, per EPA guidance.
