What happened in De Pere
This De Pere home had a water leak in May 2023 that spread under the kitchen and into the nearby rooms. The crew extracted the water first, then opened up what had gotten wet.
The photos show the main living spaces and then the cleanup: flooring and underlayment pulled back to the subfloor, the bottom of the drywall cut away along the walls, and the base of the kitchen cabinets opened so the space underneath could dry. Close-ups show the wet tack strip, the wood framing and the soaked drywall that came out.
Water that runs under kitchen cabinets is easy to miss because the floor looks fine from above. Opening the toe kick and checking with a meter is the only way to know. Once everything was dry, the home was ready for repairs, and the insurance file had photos of every step.
