What happened in De Pere
This De Pere basement took on water in June 2023. The photos follow the job from the first moisture checks to the dried-out walls.
The crew started by taking readings on the concrete and the wall panels with a moisture meter, marking how far up the water had wicked. Then the lower part of the wall paneling came off in a straight line around the room, a flood cut, exposing the framing and insulation behind it. The bottom plates and the wall cavities were dried with equipment, and the later photos show the meter checks that confirmed everything was back to normal before rebuild.
Measuring before and after is how you know a basement is actually dry and not just dry to the touch. It's also what insurance adjusters want to see in the file.
