What happened in Menominee
CCS handled this mold job in Menominee, Michigan. The project was opened on November 28, 2025, and the photos here are from December 2.
The photos show air sampling inside a public building. A sampling pump with a collection cassette was set on a tripod in a classroom near the teaching wall, with its cord run across the carpet, and a second setup stood in another classroom with tile floors among the student tables and chairs. A third sample was taken outdoors as the baseline.
Air samples are sent to a lab, which counts and identifies the mold spores in each one. The indoor results are compared with the outdoor sample, since some spores are always present outside. In buildings where many people spend the day, testing like this is how a mold job is checked, before or after the remediation work, to confirm whether the air in the rooms is back to normal.
