What happened in Green Bay
CCS opened this mold remediation job in Green Bay on October 21, 2025, and took 38 photos. The set here is from November 6 and 7.
The work was in a bathroom. At the start the walls around the tub area had been partly opened, with old tile backer and adhesive still on the wall. By the end of the first day the room was gutted: the drywall and backer were gone, the pink insulation was exposed in the outside walls, the tub was out, and debris lay on the subfloor. The plumbing supply lines and the drain opening in the floor were left in place.
Once the insulation came out, a crew member treated the studs, the sheathing, the plates and the wood subfloor with a spray wand. The November 7 photos show the empty room with clean framing, ready to be rebuilt. Bathrooms that have leaked for a long time often need to come down to the framing, since the water gets behind the tile and into the wall.
