What happened in Wilder Park
This job in the Wilder Park area of Green Bay dealt with mold on the poured concrete walls of a basement. The photos show dark spots along the walls and the corners where the wall meets the floor, with the basement emptied out so the crew could reach everything.
The work involved cleaning the growth off the concrete and treating the walls and floor with an antimicrobial product. One photo shows a spray applicator on a spot of growth before cleaning. The later photos show the bare walls and floor after treatment, along with the window wells and utility lines along the walls.
Concrete doesn't feed mold on its own, but dust, dirt and humidity on the surface do. Keeping a basement below about 50 percent humidity is the simplest way to keep growth like this from returning.
