What happened in Green Bay
CCS opened this mold remediation job in Green Bay on August 8, 2025, and took 12 photos between August 14 and August 22.
The work was in a basement corner under the stairs, where white wall panels covered the foundation. On August 14 there was a dark gap along the bottom where the panels met the concrete floor.
By August 21 the lower panels had been taken off, leaving the wood furring strips and the painted foundation wall exposed. A hammer and chisel were used to break out the loose, crumbling material along the joint between the wall and the floor, and the debris was left on the floor in the photos. The joint was then packed with fresh patching cement so it formed a smooth seal from wall to floor. The joint where a basement wall meets the slab is a common path for water, and sealing it helps keep the corner dry so mold does not come back.
