What happened in De Pere
This De Pere job, from February 2024, focused on the heating system after a mold problem in the home. When mold is cleaned out of a basement or living space, the furnace and return air path can keep moving spores around the house unless they get attention too.
The photos show the crew opening the furnace cabinet, pulling the old filters and treating the blower area and the duct connections with an antimicrobial fog. New filters went in once the treatment was done.
Treating the air handler is a small step compared to the main cleanup, but it is often the difference between a mold job that holds up and one where the musty smell comes back a few weeks later. If you've had mold removed and the furnace was running the whole time, it's worth asking about.
