What happened in De Pere
This De Pere basement had mold behind the wood paneling in a finished room. CCS removed it and then rebuilt the room, which is why this job's photos run from tear-out to finished walls.
The early photos from April 2023 show the lower paneling removed in a band around the room, the insulation and framing behind it, and air movers drying the space. The middle photos show new wood paneling going back up along the lower walls. By the end, the room has its wainscot back, the walls are clean and the floor is clear.
Paneling hides moisture well, and by the time a smell shows up, the back side is often covered. Cutting out just the lower band and rebuilding it keeps the cost down compared to redoing the whole room.
