What happened in Algoma
This Algoma home needed repairs after a home inspection turned up mold in the basement. A real estate broker referred the job to CCS, and the work was approved in April 2022.
The photos show staining and growth along the bottom of the basement walls and in the corners, where the wall meets the floor. The crew sprayed the affected walls with an antimicrobial, worked around the window wall where the insulation and framing were exposed, and treated the corners by the door frame. A section of the sill area was opened to check under the framing.
When a mold note shows up in an inspection report, buyers and sellers usually need the repair done quickly and documented. Photos and a written scope of work help the sale move ahead.
