What happened in Lombardi
This water emergency in Green Bay's Lombardi neighborhood was opened on April 17, 2026, and the crew documented it with 36 photos. The ones here are from April 22.
The finished basement has a family room with a wood plank accent wall, a bathroom and an unfinished storage area with insulated walls. The carpet was out and the lower drywall had been cut away around the family room and bathroom, with the removed baseboards lying on the floor. Behind the cuts the studs are open to dry, and a dehumidifier is running beside the open framing.
The crew used a thermal camera alongside moisture meters. Wet materials show up cooler on a thermal image, which helps find water that has moved behind a wall.
