What happened in Oshkosh
CCS inspected this home in Oshkosh on December 3, 2025, as a free mold assessment, and documented it with 37 photos. The owner received a written estimate for remediation.
The most telling photo shows a room corner where two painted walls meet above a wood baseboard. Heavy black mold covered the lower part of both walls in the corner and spread up the wall in patches, and the floor in front of it was stained and littered with debris. Elsewhere, a moisture meter was set on the floor at the base of a wall, and a damaged section of flooring at a doorway showed water staining and peeling layers.
The crew walked the kitchen, the storage closets and the main rooms to document conditions throughout the house. Mold this heavy in a corner usually means the wall has been wet or the air humid for a long time, and the assessment looks at both.
